One day, you might just catch him building his own cabin in the woods, where he can fish, hunt and quad to his heart’s content.

Accounting Manager

Christina balances Aquarian’s books with noteworthy attentiveness. Her 35 years of accounting experience keeps our finances healthy, accurate and transparent. Clients, colleagues and vendors alike appreciate her approachable nature, making her our go-to financial advisor. Always relishing a challenge, Christina is an avid reader and lifelong learner. You’ll often find her with her nose in an intriguing non-fiction book, or travelling the world and experiencing new cultures with her husband.

Site Supervisor/Carpenter

As a high energy and dedicated professional, Colin has an ideal blend of construction and corporate experience. With over 10 years in the industry, he’s adept in both carpentry and project management. Whether he’s addressing client needs, scheduling trades or leading on-site staff, Colin ensures we deliver both impeccable service and workmanship. He’s also a die-hard motorsports fan, golfer and hockey player.

Darcy

Carpenter

Darcy grew up with a hammer and nails firmly in hand. Committed to his craft, he relishes seeing his work become the place a client calls home. With over 10 years of construction experience under his belt, he brings a depth of knowledge in framing, not to mention an unfailingly collaborative and positive outlook. Darcy shares his love of hands-on work with his family, too, spending his weekends hunting, camping or playing sports with his wife and two daughters.

Garth

Estimator

Garth knows the intricate world of home construction inside and out. From woodworking projects with his grandfather and constructing entire homes, to teaching log homebuilding courses and running his own cabinetry business, carpentry is deeply ingrained in his life. It’s no wonder a career in estimating came naturally to him. When he’s not immersed in construction, Garth can be found playing the piano and guitar, mystifying audiences with his musical mastery. He especially enjoys performing for his family out at the cabin.

Jason

Architectural Designer/Estimator/IT

Creativity and technical proficiency are integral to Jason’s design approach. As a graduate from NAIT’s Architectural Technology program, he combines artistry with analytical thought to create floorplans and 3D models. And with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta, his business savvy is vital to Aquarian’s permit application process, IT and networking. When he’s not visualizing his next Aquarian project, he’s creating T-shirt designs at his own clothing company, Filthy Casual. The brand is inspired by geek culture, often giving Jason the opportunity to travel across North America and network with his biggest gaming heroes.

Jelica

Cleaning Supervisor

Jelica truly knows how to beautify a room. Her cleaning services provide the essential final touches that make a new space feel like home. With a background in retail management and customer service, she brings a friendly attitude and strong organization skills to every project. Jelica’s passion for family is evident in the way she cares for each client’s home. Her dream is to visit her extended family in Australia, and vacation with her kids to as many warm destinations across the world as she can.

Jeremy

Lead Estimator/Journeyman Carpenter

Jeremy’s perceptive eye transforms the intimidating aspects of the estimation process into a streamlined, enjoyable experience. He guides clients through budgets, drawings, quotes and contract documentation, with a focus on creating accurate, workable plans. With experience managing a timber framing company and a millwork business, Jeremy skilfully navigates each job’s construction challenges. As a fun and adventurous spirit, he can’t get enough of sports, camping and travelling. Someday, Jeremy plans on closing his eyes, throwing a dart at world map and vacationing wherever it lands.

Jessica

Design Coordinator

To Jessica, every home project is an opportunity to create beautiful, liveable spaces. As a graduate from the University of Alberta’s Residential Interiors program, she’s focused on transforming homes through stylish and well-designed material selections. Jessica ensures a smooth and efficient process, tackling paperwork and coordinating installation schedules. A design aficionado through and through, she revels in completing unique home improvement projects with her husband. But, at the end of the day, nothing brings her more satisfaction than helping her three children succeed in school, sports and music.

Jim

Site Supervisor/Warranty

Jim focuses on more than building well-crafted homes—he creates trust and rapport with clients. Throughout each project, he provides open communication, clear on-site direction and prompt warranty follow-ups. At a young age, Jim began constructing pre-fabricated houses, which led him to earn his journeyman ticket, teach a college course and eventually call Aquarian his new home. As an active-living enthusiast, Jim loves travelling with family, playing curling and volunteering. He hopes to retire in great physical shape, so he can make the most of every moment with his wife, kids and grandkids.

Jonathan

Apprentice Carpenter

Jonathan has an undeniable instinct to create. From writing music and poetry, to skateboarding and filmmaking, he has always gravitated towards art and self-expression. As a fourth generation woodworker and furniture builder, he loves how his carpentry career indulges his imaginative side, while also allowing him to connect with new people. The biggest item on his bucket list? Build furniture with woodworking legends Norm Abram and Sam Maloof. Jon is a devoted family man, who passes his creativity onto his two sons by teaching them to skateboard and play music.

Jordan

Lead Hand/Journeyman Carpenter

A passion for exceeding client expectations underpins all of Jordan’s work. He has been with Aquarian for his entire career as a carpenter—beginning as a labourer, progressing through his apprenticeship and eventually earning his journeyman ticket. Jordan’s experience and enthusiasm run deep, allowing him to decisively lead and organize each space’s construction. A steadfast believer in self-improvement, Jordan makes plenty of time for bonding with his family and travelling the globe. His ultimate goal? Base-jump in beautiful Bora Bora.

Judi

Sales & Design Manager

From the first phone call, Judi sets a warm and thoughtful tone for your experience with Aquarian. She’s focused on understanding your needs and organizing design schedules. A seasoned veteran in interior design, Judi holds a Residential Interiors certificate, owned a custom homebuilding company for 25 years and worked as an independent design consultant. Although she’s an accomplished professional, simple pleasures feed her soul—especially spending time with family and friends. She loves to dote on her granddaughters and watch them grow.

Keith

Site Supervisor

Keith is driven to ensure every home project succeeds, every time. As he organizes staff and monitors construction quality, he’s always there to lend a helping hand. Keith has been site supervising for 20 years, but he never tires of seeing happy clients and a beautiful finished product. From building fences to constructing sheds, he enjoys working on home improvement projects to keep his carpentry skills sharp. As an avid golfer, his pipe dream is to compete in the Masters Tournament.

Kevin

Apprentice Carpenter

One of the lucky few to make his childhood dream job a reality, Kevin always knew he wanted to be a carpenter. He has been with Aquarian for three years, studying at NAIT’s Apprenticeship Training program all throughout. To Kevin, each day at work presents new and interesting challenges—it’s why he loves his job so much. Naturally, one of his biggest dreams is to build his own house on an acreage. That is, after he globe-trots to sunny destinations like Thailand, Italy, Greece and Croatia.

Marie

Owner/CEO

In every sense, Marie embodies purposeful and empathetic leadership. Along with directing Aquarian’s sales, marketing and operations, she focuses on building meaningful connections and progress within the company and the homebuilding industry. To Marie, homes aren’t just structures—they’re vehicles for artistic expression and community growth. Her active involvement in employee development, the Women Presidents’ Organization, Synergy Network and the Chamber of Commerce is tangible proof. Marie has a true zest for life, always looking on the bright side and pursuing new experiences. You’ll often find her reading, laughing, travelling or enjoying a nice glass of wine with friends.

Marsha

Design Coordinator

Marsha has a keen talent for making the old look new again. Before joining Aquarian, she revitalized properties at her own home staging company, and even won a Canadian National Home Staging Award. Marsha applies this creative flair to every home design, deftly guiding clients through the material selection process. As a self-professed Pinterest addict, she even upcycles materials into beautiful crafts. To Marsha, happiness is a room filled with family (and a closet full of shoes!).

Michael

Journeyman Carpenter

Michael sees each home project as a creative challenge, with new problems to unravel and structures to craft. As a graduate from NAIT’s Apprenticeship Training program and IPSFC’s Craftsman program, he balances his imaginative nature with a strong technical aptitude. With 12 years of construction experience, Michael is a natural leader and a mentor to our apprentice carpenters. This out-of-the-box thinker can often be found serving up new culinary creations for family and friends or adventuring in the great outdoors.

Ron

Production Manager

Although Ron savours the daily variety and excitement each home project brings, one thing never changes: his determination to achieve the right results. He steers projects forward by collaborating with our craftsmen and trades. With a Bachelor of Education, plus a background in production supervision and contract negotiations, he guides, motivates and organizes with finesse. As an enthusiastic fisher, hunter, golfer and curler, Ron brings positive energy to all aspects of life. He certainly has the stamina to achieve his ambitions—whether it’s visiting an African safari or helping see his kids through post-secondary.

Tyler

Lead Architectural Designer

Personal connection and understanding are foundational to every one of Tyler’s designs. He listens to clients’ needs, understands their priorities and lifestyles, and then reflects them in stunning renderings and floorplans. His NAIT Architectural Technology diploma and 10 years of industry experience bolster each project’s success. As a closet rock star, Tyler exercises his creative muscles in his free time by playing in a band. Bitten by the travel bug, he also hopes to one day visit every Disney Park around the world with his wife and young son.
